Burnet and Webb posted a fifth consecutive F on TEA’s preliminary ratings. Dobie got a D and broke the streak. The district is a B. Appeal through Sept. 11; final grades in December. Five Fs is the close-or-replace trigger in state law — not a takeover that has happened.

Burnet and Webb each received a fifth consecutive F on TEA’s preliminary ratings. Dobie, which had been on that streak, received a D. Austin ISD overall is a B.
This week is the appeal window — through Sept. 11. Final grades come in December. State law says five straight Fs means the commissioner closes the campus or replaces the elected board with managers.
That is the trigger, not a decision already made. AISD’s next listed date is a Sept. 3 grievances special meeting; no items, so no agenda here.
